It is a personal and professional development opportunity for the youth workers involved in the project.

Who is it for?

  • All professionals active in the helping professions across Europe and the institutions behind them.
  • Everyone who is interested in and affected by the topic.

Learning opportunities

The two trainings supported participants in deepening their youth-work competences through lived experience, practice and professional reflection.

Zoom out – I. Training

  • Outdoor education experience.
  • Learning and practicing facilitation skills.
  • Learning reflection models and practices.
  • Learning about experiential learning models.
  • Learning the common language and framework provided by the ETS competence system.

Zoom in – II. Training

  • Learning and practicing a trauma-informed approach.
  • Learning to understand and practise the tools and practices of Quality youth work by connection.
  • Learning and practicing facilitation skills.
  • Discussions about social inclusion and empowerment.
  • Learning and practicing experiential learning theory.
  • Necessary for the development of quality youth work.
